Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar from the former TLC show "19 Kids and Counting" are keeping the flame burning in their marriage. This was evident in their decision to attend a special marriage retreat held recently in Arkansas.

The Christian couple posted about the event on their Facebook page with a photo of themselves during the retreat. The couple flashed happy smiles as they posed in front of a lush green scenery. "Michelle and I had a special time speaking at the Fort Rock Marriage Retreat on the Pig Trail in St. Paul, Arkansas. I love spending time with my best friend!" Jim Bob wrote.

The marriage retreat, which was held from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2 this year, hoped to promote "the Godly principles for keeping a vibrant, Christ-like marriage." Jim Bob and Michelle already served as speakers last year. Their fellow guest speaker was evangelist Tom Harmon.

It seems like people are constantly trying to pin down the couple's happy marriage. Just this April, the two dismissed divorce rumours by gushing just how much they love each other. "We are more in love today than when we married almost 32 years ago! By God's grace, our marriage is the strongest and sweetest it has ever been!" they said in a Facebook post.

The two said they have received lots of tips on how to preserve their marriage, but there were a few that really stood out. One of these is for couples to individually pursue a close relationship with Jesus. "The closer we each get to God, the closer we each get to each other," they wrote.

Jim Bob and Michelle never put each other down as well, and refuse to resort to negative name calling because they know these things will hurt their marriage. What the couple likes to do is to praise each other with a grateful spirit.
