Jill Duggar's mother-in-law Cathy Byrum is doing just fine after she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma on April 10 last year, just two weeks after Jill and Derick Dillard got engaged.

The Duggar family decided to share an update regarding the current health status of Derick's mother in the Duggar Family Blog, after several readers expressed concern over her wellbeing.

"Now, almost ten months later, Cathy is doing exceptionally well. She recently had a PET scan and a bone marrow biopsy, both of which came back clear. She will have another doctor's appointment in two months but will not require future scans unless symptoms reappear," the blog shared.

The positive news is quite a turnaround from what Cathy received last year right before her son and Jill's wedding.

"A week before Jill and Derick's wedding, Cathy's oncologist did not expect her to survive another day, but she proved him wrong and even made it to the wedding. Cathy's story is nothing short of a miracle. Jill says that Baby Dilly, due in less than seven weeks, cannot wait to meet his grandma!" they shared.

Baby Dilly, grand-Duggar number 4 is expected to arrive this March 2015. Jill and Derick shared the good news just a month after their wedding.

"It was surreal," Derick told PEOPLE. "We were shocked. Both of us are so excited."

His father-in-law Jim Bob added, "About 30 days after Jill and Derick got married they gathered everyone in the living room and shared the news. Everyone was clapping and cheering, and we were in shock, too."

Before Baby Dilly arrives, the couple has been enjoying their married life by cooking special meals for each other and going on date nights.

Jill disclosed to Us Magazine that they plan to have lots of children together. "I have loved having lots of brothers and sisters," Jill said. "Although Derick comes from a family with just one brother, both of us would love to have as many children as God will give us."
