Duchess Kate Middleton has just given birth to her second child, a baby girl, after being a few days overdue and 19 Kids and Counting star Jill Duggar relates to what the royal mother went through.

Jill herself was weeks overdue before her firstborn son Israel David Dillard decided to make his appearance, and she was bombarded with questions about when the baby would arrive.

"People were asking me if I was having twins," Jill told PEOPLE. "They would say, 'When are you going to have that baby?' And some told me I was overdue. The lady who is pregnant is the last person who needs to hear that. The lady who is pregnant knows she's overdue. You are tired of hearing that."

It is difficult for a pregnant woman to be reminded all the time that they are overdue, so Jill's advice was that people extend some courtesy to Kate, who was under heavy public scrutiny.

"Say something like, 'You look beautiful,'" Jill suggested. "Don't say, 'You look huge,' or ask why the baby isn't here yet. Speak positively, be supportive and say something nice."

"She is probably looking forward to seeing her baby just as much as the rest of the world is," she added. "She is probably not too excited to have the entire world putting her on a time clock. Everyone should just be patient and supportive."

Jill and her husband Derick Dillard look closer than ever after becoming parents, and the young mother said that it is very important for married couples to uplift each other all the time.

On her Instagram account (@jillmdillard), Jill shared a photo of Derick cradling Israel David and captioned it, "I'm forever in L❤️VE with you! You're the best hubby and papa! I'm so blessed! Thank you for loving God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength! I'm your greatest admirer!"
