Jessa Seewald frequently shares her faith with hundreds of thousands of fans on her social media networks, and ministered to her followers again on Friday on Instagram.

The former Duggar shared a photo of her Bible and Philippians 2:6-11, and urged others to do as Jesus did.

The Bible looked well worn, with parts of the passage underlined in red pencil. 

"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: (vs. 5)" Jessa introduced the passage.

A well-cited portion of Philippians 2 is verses 10 and 11: "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

"And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (King James Version).

Two weeks ago, Jessa, 22, warned that life is short, and encouraged her fans to give their lives to Christ.

"The average person gets just 675,000 hours of life," she wrote, quoting Evangelist Ray Comfort.

"That's all you have if you cross the road carefully, wear your seatbelt, and avoid diseases and everything else out there that is trying to kill you. But you will still die.

"Your precious life is slipping through your fingers by the minute, and there is nothing you can do about it. However, there is something that God can do about it.

"Jesus said that if you seek to save your life, you will lose it, but if you lose it for His sake, you will find it.

"In other words, yield your will to God's will. Surrender. Give up the battle. Give Him your life and you get to keep it. In other words, you can have your cake and eat it."

Jessa's husband, Ben, aspires to become either a pastor or a missionary, and also shares spiritual messages with his fans on social media. The couple celebrated their one-month wedding anniversary on December 1.
