Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald say they will adopt whether they are 'blessed with biological children' or not

Newlyweds Jessa and Ben Seewald discussed their first few months of marriage and their plans for a family in an intimate interview in the newest issue of PEOPLE Magazine.

Fans of "19 Kids & Counting" have been waiting for a pregnancy announcement since the couple's November wedding, but Ben insisted they would be just as happy adopting.

"Kids are so important," he explained. "We hope to adopt a lot of kids. If God blesses us with biological children of our own, it's not going to quench our desire to adopt."

"Even before we married, we wanted to adopt,"Jessa added.

Jessa's sister, Jill, announced her pregnancy just weeks after her wedding to Derick Dillard, so it comes as no surprise that Jessa's siblings are also checking for a baby bump.

Six-year-old sibling Jordyn was curious when Jessa visited her parents' home recently.

"She asked if I was pregnant and I said, 'No, I'm not,'" the 22-year-old recounted. "And then she said, 'Well you look pregnant!'"

Ben, 19, chimed in that Jordyn was only teasing.

"We fight about this," he shared. "Jessa thinks she's fat, but she doesn't remember all the times people tell her that she looks great.

"Her sister is used to people in the family getting married and being pregnant right away," he continued.

"Of course she's going to look at Jessa and say she's pregnant."

The couple also admitted that though they sometimes disagree, it doesn't last for long.

"We try to bring it up and say, 'Hey we need to talk about this,'" he shared. "We can't let it define our relationship."

"If we have a hard time and we talk about it, you just love each other so much more afterwards," Jessa confirmed.

"After a disagreement, I often feel, 'I have never loved you more than I love you now.'"
