Christian music giants Jars of Clay and Third Day will share the stage this season for the “Christmas Offering” Tour.

Named after Third Day’s Dove-Award winning project, the tour kicked off November 29 and will journey to at least 12 venues.

"We'll be doing stuff from our Christmas album, but also some standard hits as well," said Third Day's lead singer, Mac Powell. "But everything will definitely be the Third Day sound with familiar tunes people can sing along to."

Over the past decade, Third Day has garnered 24 number one radio singles and sold more than six million albums. The band has also collected 24 career Dove Awards, two Grammy Awards and two consecutive American Music Award nods.

According to Powell, the addition of Jars of Clay to the lineup makes the tour even more special. Having just launched its own label, “Gray Matters”, Jars of Clay will be performing selections from its very first full-length Christmas project, ”Christmas Songs”.

"We're really good friends with those guys and we've been on the same record label for a number of years," Powell said of Jars of Clay. "But we've never been able to tour together, so this is exciting for us and for the fans to see us all at the same show."
