International Christian revivalist youth outreach ministry Jesus Culture is stressing the importance of trusting God even when things do not make sense.

On their website, Jesus Culture member Chris Jones reminded people of the story of Jeremiah, who shared God's word to the captives in Babylon.

"God hasn't forgotten about them and He knows exactly what He wants to do in their lives. He wants them to live with hope and blessing even in captivity," said Jones.

So through Jeremiah, God told them not to waste their 70 years of captivity. Instead of living in hopelessness, God told them to pursue life and family, to manage their finances and to multiply.

Jones explained that God's message to captives is something people of today can apply to their lives. Even during the darkest moments of one's life, God wants His people to know that there is hope.

"Even though you are prisoners, live a full life and continue to be full of hope! For I know you will be okay and no disaster that you can't overcome will come your way. You will have a blessed life and a blessed family," he said.

Jones added that God knows exactly what people need in this season to get to the next one, so during moments of doubt, people should just concentrate on pursuing life and be filled with hope because God is going to bless them eventually.

"Whether you feel like a prisoner or a free person, God will meet you were you are," he assured. Jones said that God's message is applicable no matter where people are in their lives. All people need to do is to trust God, because that is what He wants.

"God knows each of our plans for our lives and sees them from the end perspective. He is saying, 'if you know Me be full of hope because I have it all worked out for you,'" explained Jones.
