Samsung joined the #Bendgate bandwagon and attacked Apple for the new iPhone's bendable screen panel by showing that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is sturdy enough to withstand the pressure of the human's backside.

It is not surprising that Samsung would take advantage of the current controversial issue surrounding the recently released iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The new iPhones were announced last month; however, shortly after the surprise and delight of the consumers, they began claiming that the new iPhones bend easily. Some users even posted photos of the curved handsets. Some posts on social media stated that the smartphones bent and took the shape of their rear ends, thus starting the viral #Bendgate issue.

Many tech web sites started to put the new iPhones to the test. Through a strength test, they found out that the new smartphones are pretty malleable and easy to bend. Apple, on the other hand, denied the reports.

In a new blog post in Samsung Tomorrow, humorously entitled "Galaxy Note 4 vs. The Human Gluteus Maximus," the South Korean tech company took a swipe at Apple by proving that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 does not bend. The device was subjected to a three-point bend test and a human weight test.

The three-point bend test was done by resting the device by its opposite ends, and then placing a 25-kilogram weight in the center. After the test, it showed that the device had no damage. The human weight test, on the other hand, was done by having a person, weighing approximately 100 kilograms, sit on the device multiple times. In the end, the Galaxy Note 4 showed no damage.

This is not the first time that Samsung has attacked Apple and its devices. During the press launch of the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung released six parody videos taking swipes at iPhones' new features and highlighting the former's latest phablet.
