iPad Pro release date 2015? Apple working on device

Apple is reportedly working on the iPad Pro tablet set to arrive in early 2015.

The tech giant is working on the massive tablet that is reported to replace the MacBook Air laptop. The iPad Pro targets the business and education sectors, which is reported to highly benefit from the device.

The tablet is set to arrive in early March of 2015 as this is the original release date of iPad tablets. iPad Pro will not be the first tablet to sport a 12-inch screen panel. This year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy NotePRO, which packs a 12-inch screen but failed to make a big impact in the market.

Bloomberg previously reported that Apple's suppliers are prepping to manufacture the iPad pro tablet with a 12.9 inch screen and the production is expected to begin in the first quarter of next year. The iPad-line is only second to iPhone in terms of sales. Analysts think that a larger iPad will be a catalyst for the growth of the device.

Meanwhile, Apple is still dominating the tablet market despite the decrease in shipments in the recent quarters. A tablet with a bigger screen display will surely stir the tablet market. According to the grapevine, the iPad Pro will come in two variants with two different screen resolutions – a 2K and 4K display. Also, there were talks that the tablet's bezels may be hypersensitive as the tablet was rumored to pack pressure sensors to replace the physical home button in previous iPads.

Other rumored features of the tablet are: a 2 GB or 3 GB RAM, a 64-bit or octa core processor, Touch ID fingerprint sensor, improved Siri, and better camera and battery. However, the Cupertino-based company has not responded to the rumors going around about its devices. The company also has not revealed any official specs and features of the alleged iPad Pro.
