iOS 8.2 device owners will be able to rejoice because the jailbreak for the aforementioned version might be released sooner than expected. According to WCCFtech, the iOS 8.2 jailbreak is expected to be released during the end of March, and through the means of remote functionality, users will be able to achieve an untethered jailbreak courtesy of a China-based exploit team called TaiG.

The website has stated that according to security expert Stefan Esser, who also possesses the nick 'i0n1c,' has stated that the Chinese-based exploit group might be waiting until the 2015 Mobile Security Summit before it officially releases its latest jailbreak. The event is expected to be held on March 27, 2015, which ultimately translates in to the jailbreak being no further than a couple of months away. After the official jailbreak of iOS 8.2 launches, the iOS 8.3 will be in line.

While the following has not been confirmed, there is a high possibility that the teams might not be rolling out a jailbreak for the iOS 8.2 and will jump straight to version 8.3. According to Gotta Be Mobile, jailbreak developer MuscleNerd has given a warning to all jailbreakers to stay away from the iOS 8.2 update, with the obvious reason being that it will not be capable of being cracked.

However, on the TaiG website, it states that the developers have "already completed the untethered jailbreak support for iOS 8.2," which leads to the speculation that the team could already have newer versions in the pipelines. Furthermore, it is possible that the team plans on making an announcement at the upcoming event, which so far, the exploit team has not given any comment.

Apple's iOS 8.2 update brought about several bug fixes to iOS devices, and brought about one major change; making the Apple Watch compatible with the user's iPhone.
