A working jailbreaking tool for iOS 10 had seemed very unlikely following the barrage of updates that Apple has been releasing in the past few months. Hacking teams across the globe — including the infamous Pangu Team — has yet to release a working jailbreaking tool to the public.

However, a new report has revealed that an Italian hacker has apparently successfully done the impossible as he has managed to jailbreak a brand new iPhone 7 smartphone running the latest iOS 10 operating system.

Apple recently released their latest operating system version, iOS 10, earlier this month and fans have been looking to hacking teams to provide a jailbreaking solution for their smartphones. The company has remained a few steps ahead of the hacking teams as it had managed to release several updates that continue to be jailbreak-proof.

Apple is also adamant in its effort to thwart any jailbreaking attempts by continuously releasing patches that renders any previously released jailbreaking tools from working.

According to a report, an Italian hacker named Luca Todesco — also known by his username "qwertyuiop" — managed to showcase a working jailbreaking solution last week. The hacker even posted a photo of his iPhone 7 running Cydia, which is proof that the operating system was indeed jailbroken.

The hacker mentioned that he will not be releasing any details about the jailbreak just yet as he needs to wait for Apple to release a patch. Todesco also mentioned that he is in the process of developing an easier way of jailbreaking iOS 10, which might include performing the procedure through a browser.

Pangu, on the other hand, previously showcased a working iOS 10 jailbreaking tool which was based on the early beta-versions of the operating system. The team, however, has not yet released a working tool that can be downloaded, so fans would have to wait for either Pangu or Todesco to release an official and stable jailbreaking tool.
