NFL Thursday Night Football takes place tonight with a big match up between the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans. This all-AFC South division clash is packed with Playoff implications, and as the regular season moves into the second quarter of the season, it's time for teams to begin to assert themselves in their respective divisions. Today's huge game has a start time of 8.30 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the CBS network, or online through live stream via the link below.

Coming into this game the Colts are sitting atop the AFC South, but with only a 2-2 record there's not much to boast about and they certainly are not comfortable yet. A win here today for the 1-3 Houston Texans would put drag the Texans up level with the Colts on 2-3 and leave the division wide open.

The Colts have clawed their way back to .500 but it has not been pretty. After starting their season off on 0-2 - losing 14-27 to the Buffalo Bills, and 7-20 to the New York Jets - they have fought their way back with two wins to make it to 2-2.

However, their two wins have come against weaker opposition and the manner of the victories have been less than impressive.

In Week 3 the Colts were only able to sneak a win against the Tennessee Titans 35-33, and last week they scraped by the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars 16-13.

Ultimately it is only the win that matters, but the signs are not good for this Indianapolis team that started the season with serious postseason hopes.

Today they come up against a talented Texans team that suffered a bad loss last week, but overall has generally played better than their record suggests. They lost both their opening two games by just 7 points; in Week 1 they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs 20-27, and followed that with a 17-24 loss to the Carolina Panthers.

In Week 3, the Texans finally claimed their first win with a 19-9 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but last week suffered their first blowout, getting demolished 48-21 on the road to the Atlanta Falcons.

Houston's defense that was so apparently absent last week must make a return this week if they are to stifle Andrew Luck and the Colts' offense.

So far this season Luck has completed 65 of 116 throws for 753 yards and five touchdowns. In comparison, Ryan Mallett for the Texans has gone 71 of 137 for 720 yards and three touchdowns.

Whether the Colts can continue their win streak or whether the Texans can drag themselves up level with Indianapolis at the top of the AFC South remains to be seen.
