To a lot of Christians, the Holy Bible is the most sacred Book which you read by flipping the pages and combing through verses of God's words.

The Oklahoma-based megachurch Life.Church has, however, revolutionised the way God's words are being read nowadays by developing a smartphone app version of the Holy Bible.

The way that the mobile app has so far been received around the world—even in countries where Christians are just a minority group — is really remarkable, with over 202 million users having already downloaded it, with the number still rising.

What is more amazing is the way the Holy Bible app has evolved ever since it was developed. It is now available in 1,228 versions and 895 supported languages.

In a statement, app creator and Life.Church pastor Bobby Gruenewald expressed amazement at the overwhelming reception for the Holy Bible app around the world.

"What God is doing through YouVersion is incredible — changing mobile devices into Bibles that people carry with them everywhere they go,' Gruenewald said in an article on TheBlaze.com.

He also took pride in the fact that mobile phones can now be used not just to communicate but also to "transform" the individuals who read God's Word.

"As we see the magnitude of 200 million installs, what we're really celebrating is what that number represents: countless moments of individuals transformed by their time in the Bible," he added.

The app, which allows like-minded believers to connect with each other reported incredible "triple-digit growth and beyond" in non-Christian countries like Iran, Cameroon, and Bulgaria, among others.

The top topics being searched in the Holy Bible app are also quite interesting: "marriage, love, faith, prayer and fasting."

And what is the most shared verse using this Holy Bible app? It is Romans 12:2, which states: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Here are the top five Bible verses shared over email, text and social media, according to YouVersion.
