The latest episode of the highly popular anime television series reboot "Hunter X Hunter" has apparently been put on hold following the apparently deteriorating health condition of its illustrator Yoshiro Togashi.

The anime itself has been rumored to be on the brink of cancellation because of Togashi's condition, but new reports are revealing that someone may be taking over the illustration in order to prevent it.

According to the latest reports, Togashi's wife Naoko Takeuchi may be set to take over her husband's work in order for the anime to continue. Before she was mentioned, however, the anime's publisher had apparently already considered hiring new creators and illustrators to save the anime television series from being cancelled.

Despite their efforts, it was later decided that the results were not what they had expected, which prompted them to temporarily stop releasing new episodes.

Now, the publisher has apparently approached Togashi's wife, who is an accomplished illustrator as well. While Togashi's work on "Hunter X Hunter" and his other projects are well publicized, his wife Takeuchi's work "Sailor Moon" had also received numerous awards.

Takeuchi's awards also include coming second at the Nakayosahi Comic Prize for Newcomers and a New Artist Award in 1986 for her work on "Love Call."

As of the moment, there has been no official announcement yet that Takeuchi will be taking over her husband's work, but reports are adamant that the anime will continue and that the latest episode — episode 361 — will be released very soon. Reports have even predicted that the new episode will likely feature the "Dark Continent Arc," which should be quite interesting to see in the anime's rebooted form.

If Takeuchi will consider taking over illustrations for "Hunter X Hunter," then fans should be getting new episode very soon seeing as there is more than enough material already to encompass an entire season.
