"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2" will be hitting theaters this November, closing the franchise with the final adaptation of the book series by author Suzanne Collins. The Collider was able to sit down with director Francis Lawrence during this year's CinemaCon and discussed several spoilers and details surrounding the finale. 

According to the report, filming isn't complete, with several scenes including the epilogue to be wrapped up sometime in May. Fans of the books will recall that the epilogue takes place several years after the main events of the books, and it is likely that the production team will utilize both practical effects and CGI to make the characters look older, similar to what was done for the epilogue of the last "Harry Potter" film. 

The director also explained that the final shooting schedule was delayed due to weather requirements. 

"There's one scene that we need to still shoot, we had a horrible winter in Atlanta and we didn't get a spring in time, we needed greenery and we didn't get greenery, so we're going to go back sometime in late May and shoot one last scene," Lawrence explained. 

He also stated the original cut of the film was at 2 hours and 50 minutes, but this was cut down to 2 hours and 7 minutes, excluding the credits. Despite this, there aren't many deleted scenes so the 43 minutes chopped off may simply be extensions of scenes being used in the film. 

There have been rumors about the film's first trailer popping up with "Avengers: Age of Ultron," but Lawrence dispelled this and explained that fans should not expect to see it anytime soon. The director stated that viewers will get a glimpse of the film during the panel at this year's Comic-Con. Lawrence did not confirm if any of the stars will be at the panel. 

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2" opens on Nov. 20, and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, and Elizabeth Banks.
