HTC J Butterfly 2 rumored specs on par with high end smartphones

The rumored HTC J Butterfly may include specs and features that are on par with other high end smartphones in the market.

Japanese carrier KDDI announced its 2015 summer lineup and it included what seemed to be the HTC J Butterfly. The image only showed the front of the device and it appeared tall. Moreover, its top and bottom bezel seemed large.

This was not the first time that the alleged HTC J Butterfly 2 appeared online. Twitter user known for leaked devices @evleaks also posted an alleged photo of the device.

Moreover, back in April, a device with model number HTC 0PAJ3 appeared on AnTuTu's database for benchmarking. According to the listing, the device will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.3 GHz with a 330 GPU Adreno chip. Moreover, the smartphone is rumored to pack a 2GB of RAM and at least 16GB of internal storage. Lastly, the handset will run with Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box or the 4.4.3 version by the time of its release.

Speculations added that the handset will have 2020 mAh or higher battery capacity. At the back, the smartphone will boast a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera.

Based from the aforementioned specs and features, HTC J Butterfly 2 may have a good standing in the market as the specifications suggested that it has some of the top of the line features that can be seen in flagship phones of other manufacturers.

If rumors proved to be true, HTC J Butterfly 2 will battle head on with flagship phones like the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5. Thus, HTC J Butterfly 2 or HTC Deluxe 2 could be a perfect alternative smartphone since it will most likely come with a cheaper tag price compared to other handsets.

The first HTC J Butterfly was released in December 2012. It was first available in Japan but made a worldwide debut under the name HTC Deluxe.
