The smartphone community thought that they had everything they needed to know about the HTC 10. They may be right, but then again, another set of rumors popped out in the open, saying that there will be three storage variants and one will have a less powerful processor.

The HTC 10 is the next flagship phone set to be unveiled by the Taiwan-based phone manufacturing company on April 12. This was already announced by HTC last week. Everybody is just waiting for the said date to see the phone in the flesh. Suddenly, a Chinese website called MyDriver posted additional information about the soon-to-be launched phone.

It is rumored that the highest model of the HTC 10 will house a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage capacity. A second model will contain the same processor but will only have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Lastly, targeting mid-range consumers is a Snapdragon 652-equipped variant with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

PhoneRadar added that the three variants will cost 5,888 Yuan (approximately US$904), 4,999 Yuan (approximately US$768) and 3,799 Yuan (approximately US$584), starting from the highest model.

For the general specifications of the HTC 10, it is highly speculated to be coming with a 5.15-inch Super LCD screen offering 2560 x 1440 pixel display resolution, with different RAM and internal storage configurations. All phone variants are said to have an expandable storage up to 128GB via a microSD card.

It is also rumored to be offering a 12MP UltraPixel main-camera that features OIS, laser auto focus and dual-tone LED flash. A 3,000 mAh battery pack, Android 6.01, Sense 8.0 UI and a fingerprint scanner on the home button are also said to be coming with the device.

The HTC 10 is scheduled to be shown on April 12 in three different places, namely, 8 a.m.in New York City, 1 p.m. in London and 8 p.m. in Taipei, its home city.
