After her own reality show with her family was cancelled late last year, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star June Shannon is now working her way to land a spot in the next season of "The Biggest Loser."

TMZ broke the news last week when the Shannon-Thompson matriarch was spotted working out with celebrity trainer Natasha Kufa at a park in Hollywood. Allegedly, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson's mom is eyeing a spot in the next installment of the popular weight loss show "The Biggest Loser" by shedding at least 100 pounds.

This is not the first time that Mama June's health made the headlines this month. Earlier, she was reportedly rushed to the hospital in Atlanta for not feeling well. TMZ said that she had a very high fever and suffered from pneumonia. She was also allegedly suffering from extreme dehydration at that time. The 35-year-old former TLC star was reportedly given the necessary medicines to alleviate her symptoms, then she was told to rest at home for a couple of days.

The website also reported that Mama June's former husband and Honey Boo Boo's dad Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson volunteered to watch over the kids while she was still in recovery.

Mama June and her family became famous after TLC followed the life of child beauty pageant contestant Honey Boo Boo in the hit reality show that lasted for six seasons. In October 2014, the cable channel canceled the show when a controversy involving Mama June became viral. According to reports, she hooked up with her ex-boyfriend Mark Anthony McDaniel, who happens to be a convicted child sex offender.

At the height of the controversy, Mama June's eldest daughter Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell admitted that she was the victim of McDaniel back in 2004.
