Healing Ministry Training Conference to be Held in U.S.

|TOP|A church in the U.S. will host a Healing Ministry Training Conference on Saturday, May 13th.

St. John’s Church in Massachusetts will run the event from 8:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m(EST), with the theme "The Resurrection of the Forgotten Touch."

The sessions will focus on the foundations of healing prayer and God’s desire to use his people in the work of healing physical, emotional and spiritual illnesses. Two teachings on healing will be followed by a service of healing prayer beginning at 1 p.m.

The instructor will be the Rev. Nigel Mumford, the director of the Healing Ministry at Christ the King Spiritual Life Center in the Episcopal Diocese of Albany, N.Y. Mumford’s conviction to pray for healing came when God healed his sister, Julie Sheldon, a ballet dancer with the Royal Ballet in London, from a disease called dystonia.

|AD|"Something always happens when we pray. Every one is healed, some are cured," said Mumford.

Mumford is a healing ministry presenter in a variety of venues including the medical profession, Christian churches throughout the United States and England in universities and seminaries. He is a published author and serves on the National Advisory Board of Christian Healing Ministries in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition, he is vice president of Fishnet, an organisation that encourages healing ministries in New England; is a member of The Association of Christian Healing Centers, UK, affiliated with Burrswood, a Christian hospital in Kent, England; and is a frequent speaker for the International Order of St. Luke.

Everyone is welcome to participate in both the conference and healing service. The conference fee for the day is $15 per person (a box lunch is included).
