Despite the wide success of "Grand Theft Auto 5," players are still clamoring for information for the still unannounced "GTA 6." As early as now, gamers are waiting to hear Rockstar's plans for the next installment of the popular open world race game.

According to a post from video game tipster DragonDMonkey on 4Chan, "GTA 6" will likely be released in multiple platforms, including PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. He also implied that the game developer will be releasing the new game in all editions at the same time instead of the usual launch style where the console editions come first before the PC edition.

However, the tipster's more intriguing detail is the connection between another popular open world game and the rumored upcoming installment of the "GTA" franchise.  He said that "GTA 6" could possibly have a continuity similar to "Red Dead Redemption," since the new game's protagonist will allegedly be the offspring of John Marston. If this is accurate, then players of "GTA 6" would be able to play using the character who is a descendant of "Red Dead's" protagonist. 

Meanwhile, Master Herald recently reported that the setting of the still unconfirmed "GTA 6" may be in Portland or Rose City in Oregon instead of Los Santos as earlier reported. The report mentioned all the possible reasons why Portland is the game's most ideal location. One of them is the accessibility of stealing cars and finding hookers in the city. It was also mentioned that the place is known to have nine gun stores, which is very ideal for players to get the ammunition and firearms that they would need for stealing automobiles. There are also strip clubs all over the city. 

Still, Rockstar has to announce the details for the alleged "GTA 6" before fans believe any of the mentioned rumors, including its 2017 release date.
