Nick will be hell-bent on taking revenge when "Grimm" season 5 starts. With his mother now gone and his girlfriend killed in front of him, the detective's vendetta will be the theme for the new season, and according to Master Herald, there's only one person who can be at the receiving end of his wrath.

The only royal left for Nick to punish is Captain Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) and the site says that he will be after him when the show returns. This is because the royals are responsible for making a murderer out of Juliette, which led to the gruesome death of his mother.

Speaking of Renard, Rotz said that the absence of the royals in season 5 will open up the prospect of revisiting unresolved plots from season 1.

"We're getting back to a lot of the mythology of Season 1, and a lot of the web of politics," the actor told TV Guide

Meanwhile, as the fifth season shows how Nick's anger changes him, David Giuntoli, who plays the best detective in Portland, assured fans in the same TV Guide interview that he has other things to do than feeding his vengeance and bringing to justice everyone who took his loved ones away from him.

"Adalind and I have to co-parent, which is going to be so bizarre," the actor revealed. "He lost his girlfriend, he lost his mom and the baby is kind of the reason for him to keep going."

This statement oiled rumor mills about possible romance between Adalind and Nick. But actress Claire Coffee said in the same interview that her character Adalind will be busy looking for another job with her powers gone. If it won't be her, VC Post says that Nick is still expected to meet a new love interest.

"Grimm" season 5 will premiere on Oct. 30.
