A rematch of last season's Western Conference Finals will take place at the Oracle Arena today, Tuesday, when the defending champions Golden State Warriors host the Houston Rockets.

The Warriors are currently on a nine-game winning streak and have already defeated the Rockets twice this 2015–16 National Basketball Association (NBA) regular season.

Golden State's last win heading to today's matchup with Houston is a 116–108 triumph over another Western Conference contender, the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Reigning Most Valuable Player (MVP) Stephen Curry shone in the victory having 26 points, six rebounds, 10 assists, and three steals in 38 minutes played.

Forward Harrison Barnes added 19 points and All-Star guard Klay Thompson had 18 points to help Curry.

The success over Oklahoma City extended the Warriors' unbeaten home streak to 23 games this season, and 41 overall dating back to the 2014–15 regular season.

Golden State improved to 46–4, tying the best start through 50 games in the NBA held by the 1966–67 Philadelphia 76ers.

The Rockets and Harden wants to spoil the success train for the Dubs when they visit them today.

Along with the desire to avenge the losses they suffered versus the Warriors, the Rockets also aim to get back on the winning track since they lost to the Portland Trail Blazers last Saturday, 96–79.

Harden led Houston exploding for 33 points, also recording eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block.

Unfortunately, only one other Rockets player scored in double-digits against the Blazers and it was former All-Star center Dwight Howard.

Howard had a huge game tallying 17 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, and four steals in a losing cause.

The Rockets are still seventh in the Western Conference standings with a 27–26 record, 20.5 games behind Golden State for the top spot.
