"God's Not Dead" actress Melissa Joan Hart recently expressed what keeps her faith and values intact even in the midst of opposition.

In an interview with Fox News, the former child actress now successful businesswoman and Hollywood celebrity openly shared about her faith in God and how valuable it is for her everyday life.

"As far as my faith, I think it is important to share that those are my values and I'm going to use them to guide me through life and I'm not going to steer away from it, it's part of who I am." Hart said in her interview with Fox.

39-year-old Hart is most famous for her roles played in "Clarissa Explains it All" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch." Hart took a break from her life as a TV star to start a family, but returned in 2009 to compete in the ninth season of "Dancing with the Stars," and then in 2010 to star in another television series "Melissa & Joey."

Hart goes on to share the difficulties of being open about her Christian values in Hollywood. "People are going to argue with me no matter if I say something controversial or not. I'm going to ignore them because I have every right to say what I want to say and put out there what I feel," Hart openly expressed.

Hart stars in the upcoming sequel to the Christian film "God's Not Dead," where she reprises the role of a teacher who faces a case for openly sharing about Jesus in a high school classroom. The second film follows the box office success that was "God's Not Dead" that aired back in March 21, 2014 and made $62 million in the international market.

"God's Not Dead 2" will be coming out in theatres on April 1, 2016, where Hart will be joined by actors Jesse Metcalfe, David A.R. White, Ray Wise, Robin Givens and Ernie Hudson.
