Not so long ago, there were rumors that Chris Colfer was fired from the series that made the fans panic. However, this was later denied by the actor and members of the show. The actor explained that his Twitter account was hacked. He confirmed that he will be back on the show. However, the real reason behind the delay was not explained.

On the other hand, the delay will give the production team more time to plan the sixth season of the series.

The final season will have only 13 episodes compared to the 24 episodes of the previous season. However, there have been reports that claimed that the producers may still continue with the original 24 episodes.
