Jared Padalecki revealed a major spoiler about his role in the upcoming reboot of "Gilmore Girls" on Netflix.

During a press panel at the recent "Supernatural" convention, Padalecki brushed on how his character Dean Forester will be part of the "Gilmore Girls" reboot.

While most of the cast are normally quiet about their roles in the reboot, the 33-year-old actor admitted that he will say a lot more than necessary.

"[Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino] basically said, 'Listen, we're going to write you a really cool scene and if you get a day off, let us know and we will just put your scene on the schedule for that day,'" Padalecki stated during the convention, as reported by Entertainment Weekly. "She was like, 'It's a set that we already run and own, it's an actress that already is working every day, so let us know.'"

While the actor chose not to give further details, he revealed very important information about what Dean has been up to since he left Stars Hollow in season 8.

"Dean has a cool scene in the market [Doose's] he used to work at," the actor stated. "It's a really nice scene that gave me closure."

Fans of the series will remember that Dean and Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) had their first kiss at the Doose's market, where Dean used to be a grocery bagger. Does it mean that the ex-couple will be reunited at a very special place during their relationship? The actor did not confirm this information.

Padalecki revealed that while his role on the upcoming "Gilmore Girls" reboot is small, his return would give the character the proper closure that was missing during the first run of the show.

"For me, I never had closure. One day, I was an actor on Gilmore Girls. The next day, I had a TV show and would never again be on 'Gilmore Girls,'" Padalecki said. "For me, as a person, it was weird because I was like, 'What about Dean?' the actor said. "It was fun to go wrap it up in a really cool way."

Netflix's "Gilmore Girls" reboot, which will be called "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life," will feature four 90-minute episodes and air later this year.
