'Gilmore Girls' Netflix release date rumors: Fan theory says Netflix will premiere revival in November

The revival of "Gilmore Girls" by Netflix is rumored to be released sometime in November 2016.

This rumor has started floating around after a fan reported that the Twitter account for this show started counting down 153 days on June 22. This didn't have any significant connection to anything, at first glance, but the report points out that 153 days after this date points to Nov. 22, which could possibly mean that the show will be released around this time.

This is a plausible fan theory, and couple that with the fact that Netflix is more likely to release new series during late fall, a November release date for "Gilmore Girls" only needs to be confirmed for all doubts to be dispelled. However, the only thing that doesn't add up is the fact that Nov. 22 is a Tuesday.

The problem, according to Netflix Life, is that this company only releases exclusive original series during Fridays. As such, "Gilmore Girls" getting released on a Tuesday will be a first in Netflix's history, if ever the rumor turns out to be true. However, in the same article, the creator of this series, Amy Sherman-Palladino, said that she wanted to avoid releasing all its episodes at once, instead releasing each episode on consecutive days so fans can avoid getting spoiled.

If this is the case, with the show purported to have four episodes, the first one will premiere by Nov. 22 followed by the others, with the last one coming on Nov. 25, a Friday. With this, the rumor again makes sense. But without any comments from either Netflix or the people associated with the "Gilmore Girls" show, this theory remains unconfirmed.

But then again, based on how Netflix does things, it's possible that the release date for this show will be announced soon, so it's only a matter of time before the truth comes out.
