'Game of Thrones' season 5 spoilers: Filming begins for next season

The filming for the "Game of Thrones" season 5 has reportedly begun.

Website Winter Is Coming consolidated tweets from various sources claiming that the filming for the next season already started. The show was initially reported to begin shooting in July until November. The web site added that the production has started in Northern Ireland where most of the sets of the show are located.

However, this rumor should be taken as a grain of salt since it is hard to confirm the credibility of the report and its sources. In the past, "Game of Thrones" filming locations has been in remote locations where English was hardly spoken which made it hard to know has been going on. Although Belfast is not a remote area, the set is well-guarded to avoid leaks and spoilers. Moreover, the stars of the series received a gag order from HBO.

"Game of Thrones" season 5 will feature some of the familiar locations in the series. There were reports that the big HBO production is scouting Croatia to be a setting for the fifth season. Reports also claimed that the cast and crew are heading to Iceland to film a very limited amount of daylight hour before transferring to Spain to shoot the Dorne scenes for the popular TV show.

Some of the rumored locations for season 5 are: The Plaza de Toros, The University, La Colegiata, and The Canteras de Osuna. The production has confirmed that the Alcazar of Seville was scouted to be the Water Gardens of Dorne, home to the Martell family.

Meanwhile, two actresses may join the show next season. Reports claimed that Tania Raymonde and Nell Tiger Free will join the series as Obara Sand and Myrcella, respectively. Reports claimed that Raymonde auditioned for the role of Oberyn Martell's daughter. Reports added that her audition video has been taken down from the Internet to avoid spoilers, but the gossip web sites acted fast.

Nell Tiger Free, on the other hand, is rumored to be the older version of Aimee Richardson. However, HBO and the production team have not officially confirmed these rumors.
