The highly anticipated atonement for all of Cersei Lannister's (Lena Headey) sins may finally happen in the next episode of "Game of Thrones" season 5.

By the end of episode 7 titled "The Gift," Cersei was arrested by the Faith Militant after her cousin Lancel Lannister (Eugene Simon) confessed that he and the Queen Regent used to have an incestuous affair. The High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) immediately ordered to lock Cersei in a cell and await her punishment.

Simon seemingly alluded to the highly controversial scene, expected to be featured in the eighth episode titled "Hardhome," in an interview with E! Online.

According to the actor, "There's a moment that I absolutely can't wait for fans to see. Let's put it this way: justice will be done. I'm excited to see justice be done. This really is the best season yet."

The actor might be talking about the "Walk of Shame" scene wherein Cersei is forced to walk down the streets of King's Landing, bald and completely naked, to face the wrath of the public. This is said to be the punishment for women in the Seven Kingdoms who are found guilty of committing adultery.

The scene garnered a lot of controversies when it was still in production late last year, especially when the city of Dubrovnik in Croatia stopped the "GoT" crew from filming because the city does not allow any form of public nudity in their streets. The city government retracted their ban but stipulated that they still cannot shoot the naked scene inside the Church of St. Nicholas.

Meanwhile, things may also not look good for Jon Snow on the other side of the Wall. The new Night's Watch Lord Commander will travel to the Wildlings' turf with his trusted friend Tormund to make a deal. However, Jon could have a hard time dealing with them after Mance Rayder's (Ciaran Hinds) death.

The Stark women will also be featured in the new episode. Arya (Maisie Williams) improves in her training at the House of Black and White. On the other hand, Sansa (Sophie Turner) tries to seek help from an old friend to get out of the abuses that she has to endure, brought about by her new sadistic husband Ramsey Bolton (Iwan Rheon).
