Grammy Award-winning singer Toni Braxton was rushed to the hospital on Saturday in Cleveland, Ohio after suffering from her second lupus-related scare.

Lupus is a chronic disease that causes inflammation, swelling, and damage to joints, skin, kidneys, blood, heart, and lungs. Thankfully, Braxton was cleared of the disease and released from the hospital.

Braxton's sister Tamar, who is the youngest of five siblings, was so relieved that the singer was okay that she took to social media to express her joy and thank God for looking out for Braxton. She posted a video showing Braxton being given a tight hug by family members.

"I absolutely HATE when she is sick. But to God be the Glory!! T, You are home SAFE and we can make you smile even when you're faking like you feel well enough to laugh at the joke," Tamar wrote on her Instagram account (@tamarbraxton). "#LUPUSSUCKS shout out to all Lupus superwomen and men who knows what that's like."

Aside from Tamar, other celebrities who showed concern for Braxton included comedian and television host Nick Cannon. Cannon experienced lupus first hand, so he knew what Braxton went through. On his Instagram account (@nickcannon), the entertainment mogul posted a photo of himself with Braxton.

"Sending love and strength to My fellow #LupusWarrior @tonibraxton The Queen is back!! We can't never let this diagnosed condition stop our mission," Cannon wrote. "We just had a long fellowship and she is at home now, preparing to hit the road for her fans. I get these type of setbacks all the time but it just makes us stronger against this invisible disease!"

Cannon called Braxton a "conqueror" and he urged her to give people what they truly want — a fabulous show. "We got Lupus but Lupus don't got us!!!" he quipped.

Meanwhile, Braxton's representatives released a statement about the singer's condition, assuring her fans that she'll be fine. "Lupus needs to be constantly monitored and this minor setback should not affect the rest of her tour," reads the statement.
