Former witch says witches not really evil but have been deceived into thinking they don't need God

Witches are often viewed as evil old crones who abuse their powers in order to fulfil their selfish needs.

However, a former witch named Beth says witches are not really bad people but rather misunderstood people who have been fooled into thinking that they don't need God.

"I know that witches that practice magic in the name of doing good do not believe they are actually harnessing the power of demons. If they thought that to be true, they would not do it," Beth says in a video footage posted online. "They do care about the Earth and other people, but they have been lured into the same deception that I was: Magic is good and gives you power and connects you with a higher power."

Beth says the deception they have bought into is best described in the Bible verse John 8:44. It reads, "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

The former witch asserts that while she was practicing magic, she did not realise she was accessing the devil's powers. She thought she was doing good things. If she had known the truth much earlier, she would have stopped practicing witchcraft a long time ago, she says.

"The truth is, that is what every human heart desires, because that is what we were created for. The problem is that witchcraft is a counterfeit for what God has made us for," she explains.

On her YouTube channel, Beth describes herself as "an ex witch and new ager, who came out of satanic ritual abuse in the Mormon church."

She says she is grateful to be saved by the love and grace of Jesus Christ, adding that she would like to share her personal journey in the hope of letting other former witches see the light as well.
