Women deserve respect. This was the message shared by Joel Smallbone from the Christian singing duo For King & Country during the Harvest SoCal Friday night at the Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California.

While Joel and his brother Luke were singing their hit song "It's Not Over Yet," Joel walked over to the 32,000 attendees and spoke about chivalry not being dead.

"One of the things that we share every opportunity that we can is to you girls here tonight, young and old: Girls, know that you deserve to be treated with the utmost respect and honour. Don't let anybody disrespect you in your relationships," said Joel.

The singer even had a special message for the men in attendance. "Fellas, I remind myself and each of you tonight," he said, "It has become prevalent that women are objects that it is OK to give in to any and every physical impulse...but I want to challenge us in this: Men, let's not love ordinarily, let's love extraordinarily."

"Chivalry is alive and well!" he later shouted, which garnered him thunderous applause from the audience.

After their performance, the Smallbone brothers also discussed their upcoming movie "Priceless," which they will both appear in and co-produce. It is a drama based on the true-to-life story of a man named James Stevens.

Stevens is "a man who was, at one time, a good man with a great life – but that was then and this is now. After the tragic death of his wife and losing custody of his little girl, James is at the darkest crossroad of his life," according to the movie's website.

Because Stevens is angry, desperate and unable to maintain a steady job, he is forced to drive a box truck on a shady deal across the country for cash. But along the way, he meets two beautiful and frightened sisters who are facing danger, and Stevens steps up to save them.
