The Mayweather-Pacquiao fight definitely won't happen this year, because there are already talks of "The Money's" next possible opponents. And it's going to be either Amir Khan or Miguel Cotto.

When Manny Pacquiao recently signed a contract with Top Rank that will last until Dec. 31, 2016, the boxing world knew that the most anticipated boxing fight of the century won't happen anytime soon. Floyd Mayweather Jr. has spoken about this, saying that he won't fight Pacquiao as long as he is in Top Rank (he sued Bob Arum Top Rank promoter before).

Nonetheless, there's still hope that the mega fight will happen next year because Prince Amir Shapifour will make it happen in Dubai. He has the sources and connections to make it work.

Meanwhile, what is next for Mayweather this year? His next opponent is still unconfirmed, but two names popped up-- Miguel Cotto and Amir Khan.

The fight with Amir Khan won't be next because he won't be ready by September. In a statement made to Sky Sports, Khan said "The fight between me and Floyd Mayweather is going to happen one day. As long as I keep winning and putting on great performances, it is definitely going to happen. But I cannot do September because of Ramadan. The next time that it could happen is in May. I can fight then so it could be Floyd's next fight after September."

Khan also said "I am looking at the likes of (Juan Manuel) Marquez and Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather - they are the big names and that is where I belong fighting the top guys. There are talks about Manny Pacquiao happening in the future - may be next. So I have left my team, Al Haymon and my team Khan Promotions to do everything."

Next up is Miguel Cotto, who is seeking a rematch against his loss in 2012. After Cotto's impressive win against Sergio Martinez, trainer Freddie Roach told Daily Mail that "I was confident Miguel was going to beat Martinez and of course it pleases me that he's made me look good while doing it. The way Manny does. The new Cotto, with his improved movement, would be too mobile for Floyd now and I believe he would knock him out."

Another guy who wants a piece of "The Money" is Demetrius Andrade. He believes he is ready to take on the Pretty Boy of boxing. Even his promoter thinks so too. Joe DeGuardia told RingTV: "We're ready to go. As Demetrius has said, we're looking for the biggest and the best fights out there. 'Canelo,' Cotto, Mayweather, you name them. We're looking for the best fighters out there because we think that we've got the best fighter in the world."

On top of that, Andrade and his team believe he would beat Mayweather too, saying "There's nobody out there who has a job like me. There's nobody out there who is as fast as me and who is going to slip and slide and look as good against Floyd Mayweather."
