Irish singing sensation and gospel singer Moya Brennan recently announced her first UK tour in six years.

The tour follows the release of her album Signature, which is described as her most personal, revealing and engaging album to date.

Complete with a seven piece band - including harp and pipes - the Signature tour will feature tracks from the latest album as well as inimitable classics from her work at the heart of Clannad.

With album sales in excess of 15 million and her long-lasting and inspirational music, Brennan has been dubbed the first lady of Celtic music. From film soundtracks (most recently King Arthur along with Patriot Games, and The Last Of The Mohicans), to Christian recordings, television series and even dance anthems (like her hit with Chicane - 'Salt Water').

As a former cultural icon she has been a sought after partner, duetting with everyone from Bono to Ronan Keating, Paul Young to Russell Watson.

The Signature tour will look back over a life less ordinary, drawing on the album, which tells her story through a collection of twelve tracks. According to Brennan, the album reflects snapshots of her life, a journey mixed with bittersweet memories and sometimes dark moments.

The tour will kick off 18 March in Manchester and wrap up 1 April in Dartford.
