First-Ever Christian Download Service for Mobiles Launched

|TOP|JH2 Media has launched the first mobile media suite that is wholly dedicated to delivering the Christian message to both the United Kingdom and United States, allowing them to download Christian content onto their mobile phone.

Netsize was chosen to be JH2 Media's mobile service provider, offering the technical solution needed to ensure successful delivery of the mobile media suite. Users can access the service from their mobile through mPayment, Netsize's billing solutions using SMS Premium coverage, while the distribution of content, billing and CRM are all administered directly from mSuites, Netsize's content management platform.

Jennifer Hughes, CEO of JH2 Media comments, "The mobile phone has become the must have accessory and is no longer just a tool of communication. People use it to listen to their favourite music, watch the latest videos, enjoy live sport, get news alerts and buy services. Despite these great advances, there has not been a simple manner in which to download religious content onto mobile phones. Thanks to Netsize with their state-of-the-art mobile solutions and their extensive knowledge of different markets across the globe we can now make it possible for people to access inspirational, uplifting and informative religious visual material which will play a part keeping individuals spiritually motivated throughout the day."

|AD|Sachin Gajree, UK Marketing Manager at Netsize comments, "We are pleased to be able to support JH2 Media as their technical partner in this project. With this innovative approach to religious communication, JH2 Media are revolutionising the way in which churches will commune with their members. We are undoubtedly going to see a lot more interest in this type of mobile platform from other religious communities across the globe."

With the vision to make spiritually inspiring visual programmes accessible to mobile phone users, the JH2 Mobile Media Suite will work alongside church leaders, gospel artists, record labels and church organisations.

Ruach Ministries in Brixton, south London and Kingsway International Christian Centre in Hackney, east
London are two major British churches that have signed up to the JH2 Media Suite.

Leading religious TV networks that will utilise this new service are The Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) and the Word Network in the US and Revelation TV and R Music in the UK.

TV programme excerpts will be available for download to mobile phones once the service goes online later this month.

Hughes stated, “We live in an age where strong visual images play a part in conveying important messages. I really hope churches across the denominational spectrum will make use of this new medium and create vibrant and arresting TV images that will play a major role in sharing the church's message of faith, hope and love in Christ.”

“The JH2 Media Suite can also be a tool churches use to reach young people. Their mobile phones are with them all the time and this grouping are the driving force behind the growth of mobile phone downloads,” Hughes concluded.
