The search for the abducted teenage girl continues, as shown in the newly-released action packed trailer video for "Finding Carter" season 2. MTV does warn viewers that the truth about Carter's abduction and her biological family might actually tear them apart.

During the season finale of "Finding Carter" season 1, Lori (Milena Govich) once again kidnapped Carter (Kathryn Prescott) after the latter was reunited with her real family. But unlike before when the pseudo mother-daughter duo were very close with each other, this time, Carter seems to be eager to find a way to stay as far as possible from the person who keeps on abducting her.

When Carter is taken for the second time, her biological mother Elizabeth (Cynthia Watros) tries to do everything in her power as a Fairfax town detective to rescue her daughter. But she seems to be losing hope, telling her husband David (Alexis Denisof) that she is not sure anymore if Carter can be found once again.

Meanwhile, Carter tries to find her way to escape her abductor, but Lori catches up to her and tells her that she will not let her go until she and her twin sister Taylor (Anna Jacoby-Heron) finds out the truth. It seems, however, that Carter ultimately manages to escape the grasp of her abductor. She confronts her father, but according to the rebellious teenager, David seems to be hiding something from her.

Elsewhere, Taylor's boyfriend Max (Alex Saxon) also appears in the trailer, and he seems to be confronting Carter's ex-boyfriend Crash (Caleb Ruminer). Crash seems to be avoiding Max, but a group of police officers appear on his lawn.

It seems that Taylor and Max will be patching things up in the upcoming episodes of "Finding Carter" season 2, after the two are seen kissing in the promo video.

"Finding Carter" season 2 is slated to air on Tuesday, March 31, on MTV.
