'FIFA 15' release date: Game to have new emotional intelligence feature

The game "FIFA 15" couldn't come at a better time, now that The World Cup 2014 has just recently ended. Now, fans of the game will be more excited for the game's release.

One thing to be excited about is the game's emotional intelligence. According to a Polygon interview, EA Sports producer Aaron McHardy described the new feature, saying it "gives the game a more organic feel and then deploy FIFA's cameras and commentary to observe and present that."

"That way, the presentation will, at minimum, be less repetitive, a goal of any sports video game that replicates a broadcast," McHardy added. "Players won't be the only ones showing emotion. Supporters will behave distinctly as well, with commentators remarking on that."

McHardy also shared: "When your striker pounds in the deciding score late in the match, "FIFA 15"will serve up dogpile celebrations involving all but the goalkeeper." Everyone will be emotionally invested in the matches this time around.

EA Sports is done mastering the game of soccer, which is why they are now focusing on the emotions of the game's leading casts—the players, fans and commentators. There is a video that clearly explains how EA Sports is planning to go about this new feature.

This unique game feature was already previewed back at E3. On the pitch, there are 22 players that will have different attitudes, and attitudes about one another. These players will evolve when they interact with the other players. The interaction can be rough. It can lead to big moments or missed opportunities. The feature can also be called teammate intelligence.

It will be a huge game changer for soccer video games once EA Sports is able to establish the emotional intelligence feature. "FIFA 15" will be released on September 26 in PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
