When "Fast and Furious 6" ended, moviegoers were devastated to see Han die in a horrific car accident. But what happened next gave fans the shock of their lives — Jason Statham. He walked over to Han's car, revealing that he plotted the crash, then called Dom (Vin Diesel) on the phone.

"You don't know me. You're about to," he said.

Statham's character was then still unknown to everyone. What was his motive for killing Han? Why is he going after Dom and his crew? That last scene clearly hinted that Statham will be the next villain in the movie franchise.

Right after the movie, it was revealed that Statham's character is actually Ian Shaw, the brother of Owen Shaw, whose death Dom and the gang were responsible for. Ian is now out for blood. His grim face shows it all in the newly uploaded photo on the "Furious 7" Facebook page, captioned, "Jason is ready, are you?"

For sure, every "Fast and Furious" fan is screaming yes. The addition of Statham to the movie just takes the franchise to a whole new level. Everyone knows how awesome the British actor is when it comes to action movies.

The 47-year old martial artist won't really dish on his character further, but he did say great things about his co-actors.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he said, "There's nothin' better than that car stuff. I've never seen anything to compare to it. And Vin is terrific. Everybody in it is just terrific. They're a great little crew ... I've met all of them, and they're all really cool. I'm really excited to be involved with it ... I'm just not gonna tell ya what I'm gonna do."

The feeling is mutual. The movie's lead actor Vin Diesel also praised Statham for his work in "Furious 7."

Diesel told E! Online, "He's incredible. The amount of work that he did for our third act fight sequence, I was just so happy that he was just so gung ho about it and so dedicated."

The two didn't leave the fight scene without any scratches though. Diesel admitted that he and Statham had tons of injuries but nothing was permanent.

"Furious 7" is getting ready to hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
