'Family Guy' season 13 premiere episode will feature the Simpsons

Family guy is a hit show on Fox

Seeing the characters of "Family Guy" and "The Simpsons" would be a party in the eyes of comedy cartoon fans.

What used to be a wish will come true as the two animated series will crossover for the opening episode of the thirteenth season of "Family Guy."

It's hard to imagine the two kings of animated comedy together, namely Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin. The hour-long premiere episode will feature the Simpson family as they spend time with the dysfunctional Griffins.

Season 13's first episode's teaser trailer called "The Simpsons Guy" shows the Griffins being introduced to the Simpsons. The two families get along well at first. However, things change when Peter and Homer begin to argue about which beer is best, Duff beer or Quahog's Pawtucket Patriot Ale.

This episode will feature guest stars like Julie Bowen, Lea Thompson, Allison Janney and Liam Neeson. That is quite an opening for the successful animated comedy.

This will be the first ever crossover episode of "Family Guy." The season 13 premiere will air September 28 on Fox.
