Whenever some people encounter setbacks in life, they can't help but wonder, "Why me, God?" But former Destiny's Child singer Latavia Robertson isn't one of these people, and she even showed people the right way to respond to life's curveballs.

Robertson, who shared news of her second pregnancy in June, has tragically suffered a miscarriage and lost her baby. The singer didn't provide any specific details about her pregnancy and miscarriage, and simply shared a photo of her pregnant self on her Instagram account (@iamlatavia).

She captioned the photo, "Hey lovers! I do truly appreciate every prayer and everything positive that was sent my way. I was, in fact, in the hospital. And during that time, unfortunately, I lost my daughter but MY GOD never makes mistakes. Thank you for your ongoing prayers! I know my angel is watching over our family!!! I love you all."

Robertson's pregnancy had been very difficult this year. She was even rushed to the hospital in July. News outlets reported that the singer was fighting for her life, but Robertson says it wasn't completely true.

"From the bottom of my heart I want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and positive energy, I have felt every heartfelt wish more than you know! Although initial reports of me 'fighting for my life' weren't completely accurate, I was in fact in critical medical condition," Robertson revealed.

Robertson tried to maintain an optimistic stance, saying she placed all of her trust in God. "While there is more to this story, I sincerely appreciate you my loves for your support, and most importantly for respecting the privacy of my family and I during this time. God restores, HIS will is done," she said.
