Those who have been curious how "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" is and past players who have forgotten about the game and want to experience it again can now give it a try through Bethesda's Free Play Weekend.

As posted on the official website of the game, "Elder Scrolls Online" has been offered free for download since Thursday, Dec. 10, at 8 a.m. GMT. This free play weekend will last until Monday, Dec. 14, at 8 a.m. GMT.

For those who decide to continue playing the game, they can do so by purchasing "Elder Scrolls Online" with a 60 percent discount before the event concludes.

There's nothing to worry when it comes to the character and its progress since it will be maintained if the game is purchased during the promo weekend. Game score and achievements will also be preserved.

It was noted, though, that this play promo only applies to Xbox One and PC platforms, which means it won't be offered through PlayStation 4.

For PC/Mac, one should have a Free Play Weekend code in order to get access to the download. This code can be found in different websites or from existing "Elder Scrolls Online" players. The download instructions can be found here.

For Xbox One users, the game is downloadable through Xbox Live. The same 60 percent discount applies to players who decide to purchase the game before the weekend is over.

Xbox One users can also purchase crowns via Xbox Live with drop in prices during the weekend. There will be a 25 percent off from 1,500 crown packs; 33 percent off from 3,000 crowns; and 40 percent off from 5,500 crown packs.

Lastly, players of "Elder Scrolls Online" can have the chance to win $1 million just by being in the game. The sweepstakes is also applicable to those who will start playing during the weekend. Complete mechanics of the $1 million draw can be found in this link.
