Greenside Church in Edinburgh held a special Christmas service Sunday evening in conjunction with the World Mission Committee of Edinburgh Presbyter.

The 'All Nations Advent Service' was held under the theme, 'A Taste of Heaven', with several minority community churches, including Korean, Chinese, African, south Asian and Egyptian, taking part.

The Rev Andrew Anderson, Minister of Greenside Church, says: "At the end of a year which has revealed deep divisions in the human family, and with the London bombings still fresh in our minds, it is good to have something at Christmas that demonstrates how much Christians from all over the world have in common. We are excited at what we hope will be a happy and memorable occasion, indeed 'a taste of heaven'."
