Jill (Duggar) Dillard and husband Derick recently shared an update on their mission to Central America.

The 24-year-old Duggar sibling posted on the family's official blog on Monday to update fans about their trip and their son, Israel.

The mom to the 7-month-old wrote that every day, Israel learns "something new" that surprises them. "First it was clapping, then crawling, pulling up into a standing position and waving!" she explained.

Jill and Derick brought along little Israel to their Central America mission trip that started in July. She shared that they had met "new neighbors and another young family at church" and listed it under "Praises" on her write-up. She also expressed how it was a pleasurable experience to meet new families.

Meanwhile, Thanksgiving holiday just wrapped up and Jill's sister, Jessa, shared on the Seewald family blog what she and husband, Ben Seewald, are most thankful for this year—their baby boy, Spurgeon Elliot.

"Knowing how much we love our son already only amazes us all the more that God gave His only Son, Jesus Christ to redeem mankind. We are so thankful for His love and forgiveness extended to all of us," the blog post stated.

The young couple also added that they are "happy to be parents" and continue to pray to the Lord for guidance on how to become good at it. The post, of course, included a few pictures of the adorable Spurgeon.

Not only did Jessa share with the public photos of their newborn, but also a snapshot of who she was with for Thanksgiving weekend.

On Saturday, the "19 Kids and Counting" also shared a photo of Ben and other Duggar sisters, Jana, Joy –Anna and Jinger on the yard on Instagram bearing the caption, "Some of my favorite people right here, y'all."

Fans can catch more of Jill and Jessa when their special series "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" makes its debut on Dec. 13, 8 p.m. ET on TLC.
