"Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson, who has endorsed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump for the White House, hopes the business magnate won't forget what he told him about the gospel.

Robertson met with Trump a couple of weeks ago, and the reality star thought it was the perfect time to talk about God's platform in Trump's candidacy, according to Town Hall. They only spent 10 minutes together, but Robertson says it was time well-spent because they talked about God.

During that time, Robertson drew an image of God coming down from heaven and Jesus rising from the dead to show to Trump.

"Here's the deal, he may be the next president, "Robertson says. "What I owed him was the gospel. I gave him the gospel from my lips to his ears. What he does with that will be up to him. If he responds to it by faith, I'd say we have hit a home run. God will again be on our side."

Robertson stars in the upcoming film "Torchbearer," a documentary directed by Stephen K. Bannon. He says the movie shows just how empty and meaningless life can be without God in it. "The documentary is a brutal film," he says. "It shows you the carnage that ensues when societies reject God."

For Robertson, the most memorable part of the film was his visit to Auschwitz. He was deeply moved by the stories of the people who suffered in the concentration camp because of Nazi Germany's strong ideology against Jews. "It was the most disheartening moment I've spent in my 70 years on the Earth," Robertson says. "That's the result of no God." 

He says the world is already "collapsing" now because more and more people are losing faith in God, and people care more about political correctness rather than "biblical correctness." Robertson is stressing that "Christians need to get God out of the confines of church buildings" and "go out in the culture and speak boldly."

"Torchbearer" will be released on Oct. 7.
