"Duck Dynasty" star Mountain Man encourages readers to make time for faith, family, and hunting fowl in his new book, "Mountain Man: Keepin' a Slow Profile."

The book features a foreword by Mountain Man's reality castmember Jase Robertson, and was released on November 1.

Mountain Man, whose real name is Tim Guraedy, takes pride in taking his time.

"I notice that everybody is always in kind of a rush to get by and they don't take the time to slow down," he told FOX411. "Which kind of goes with my character."

Guraedy 's book contains "a little humour, some common sense, and a Bible verse or two" to remind readers to enjoy life's fleeting moments.

"Have you ever wished you had a few more hours in the day to get everything finished? What if, instead of trying to do more, we slowed down and concentrated on the things that are truly important to us," the book's description reads.

"Join Mountain Man as he shares how to make the most of your uniqueness, keep your faith first, take time for others, be quiet to catch the squirrel, stay positive when life is hard, leave a clean trail, and much more!

"Instead of figuring out how to squeeze a little more in your day, slow down with Mountain Man and learn to enjoy the best things in life."

Although Guraedy appears on a hit reality show, he doesn't consider himself a celebrity. He does enjoy interacting with his fans, however.

"I started a little too late in life to ever be excited (about the fame) but as I go through everyday life like going to Walmart, a trip that should only take 20 minutes can turn into two hours," he said. "Everybody's got camera phones these days and they want autographs and photos. It's just a fulfilling feeling."

"Mountain Man: Keepin' a Slow Profile" is available now in online and physical retail stores.
