After the successful theatrical run in Japan of the latest "Dragon Ball" movie titled "Dragon Ball Z: Revival of 'F'," a worldwide release is expected to follow soon. 

"Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F," also called "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'," premiered in Japan on April 18. Earlier reports claim that the movie earned a total of ¥960,586,350 or US$8,044,507 during its opening weekend alone, and is expected to earn at least ¥5 billion by the end of its theatrical exhibition in the country. 

Currently, the film has managed to earn ¥3.1 billion or around US$26 million after 19 days in cinemas, which means that it already beat the groundbreaking record earned by "The Last: Naruto the Movie" which reached ¥2 billion in Japanese theaters.

The film is already being shown this month in other countries outside Japan like Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand. It means that the U.S. and other countries will soon be able to see the highly talked about film based on one of the most successful franchises in the history of Japanese manga.

The plot of "Dragon Ball Z: Revival of 'F'" revolves around the resurrection of the ruthless tyrant named Frieza. Two of his followers, Tagoma and Sorbet, collect all the Dragon Balls and ask for Shenron's help to resurrect the fallen tyrant. When Frieza manages to return, he seeks revenge against Goku who, along with his friends, must fight the villain once more. 

Rumors about the U.S. release date claim that the movie will come out in summer this year. International filmgoers should also expect to see the film dubbed in English instead of the usual English subtitles. It will also reportedly come with the original Japanese music featured in the film.
