Microsoft has announced that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is now ready for pre-orders, and can actually be downloaded. Of course, it can only be played on its release date, Oct 25.

Fans were delighted when Major Nelson announced the news on his blog that the second game of the series can now be pre-purchased and pre-downloaded. There are also two variants of the game, standard and deluxe.

The standard edition is available for US$59.99, and will contain just the game. The deluxe version, meanwhile, is available for US$89.99 and will contain the game and a season pass for all its upcoming expansion packs. All pre-orders will contain freebies such as a playable character from "Dragon Ball Super" and the Tao Pai Pai Stick vehicle, which will allow players to travel around Conton City in style. Forbes previously confirmed that Goku Black is the free playable character.

The publication also mentioned a different package for the upcoming game for game fans in Europe. A collector's edition will include a 34-centimeter Goku action figure that is portrayed in his first Super Saiyan form as well as a Time Patroller's guide. The deluxe edition will have Future Trunks as a playable character, plus the season pass.

The game is also described as, "DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 gives players the ultimate DRAGON BALL gaming experience! Develop your own warrior, create the perfect avatar, train to learn new skills & help fight new enemies to restore the original story of the DRAGON BALL series. Join 300 players from around the world in the new hub city of Conton & fight with or against them."

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is published by Bandai Namco Entertainment and will be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. It will be released on Oct. 25 for North America, Nov. 2 for Japan, and Oct. 28 for Europe and other countries.
