The first downloadable content (DLC) coming to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" has been revealed by Bandai Namco Entertainment on the latest issue of V-Jump magazine in Japan.

This DLC will not be part of Pack 1 and will be available for free. For starters, it will introduce Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (SSGSS) Kaioken Goku. This version was first introduced in the "Dragon Ball Super" anime during the Universe 6 vs.7 tournament, particularly when the Saiyan fought Hit.

Speaking of the legendary assassin, the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC will also add a new version of Hit, complete with a new ultimate attack at his disposal.

This addition is not surprising as Hit will be the focus of the next arc in "Dragon Ball Super." Hit will go after Goku after being ordered by a mystery individual to kill the Saiyan.

The free DLC will also introduce new mentors in Future Gohan, Android 16, Bardock, Whis, and Cooler. These characters will train "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" players and help them master their moves so they can be more competent in the battlefield.

The "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" expansion will also come with six new accessories, 24 techniques, and a Frieza Army Raid, which will include 10 new outfits for the intergalactic tyrant.

A release date has not been revealed yet, although Bandai Namco vows to share more news about the free DLC soon. When that will happen remains to be seen for now.

With regards to the DLC Pack 1 for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," Hit will get an additional form there, which can be seen in the scan of the V-Jump magazine as well.

The scan also offers a look at Frost and Cabba, the characters coming via the expansion along with the Universe 6 vs. Universe 7 story mode from "Dragon Ball Super."

It looks like Bandai Namco will incorporate the anime heavily in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" through DLCs due to its popularity and fan demand.
