While "Downton Abbey" Season 5 has ended in U.K., the American viewers are still halfway from completing the drama-filled season. Although major networks have decided to cancel their shows this Sunday to avoid going head-to-head with the Super Bowl XXLX kickoff, "Downton Abbey" is staying put.

Season 5 episode 5 is one of the scandalous episodes in this season. Much of the story revolves around Lady Edith and her need to be with her daughter. She knows Marigold's secret and will use that as leverage.

According to Zap2it, "Lady Edith seems poised to reveal the whole secret about Marigold so as not to lose her daughter to either the Drewes moving away because Mrs. Drewe is fed up with Edith's attention to the child, or from Granny and Aunt Rosamund shipping Marigold off to a school in France."

Clearly, Lady Edith won't stop at nothing to get her way with her daughter. As a result, the suspicions will arise. This is also the same case for Thomas Barrow, who has been acting very unusual lately. According to IBT, Miss Baxter discovered that Barrow wasn't really paying his father a visit. In fact, Barrow was getting treatment for himself. What for? He could be gay.

Further down this week's episode is a fight between Bricker and Robert. As reported by Zap2it, it is going to be a fist fight. Could Bricker's feelings for Cora be the reason?

Elsewhere, Rose is busy with other things and setting aside charity work in the meantime. According to spoilers, Rose will meet a handsome man named Atticus Aldridge. Atticus will stay until the end of Season 5, hence, the man actually has a story around him.

The official promo for the episode is out. Catch "Downton Abbey" this week on Feb. 1 at 9 p.m. on PBS.
