New dad Derick Dillard and husband of Jill Duggar from 19 Kids and Counting has shared a throwback photo of himself and Jill while they were just starting their courtship stage in Nepal, and he urged the show's fans to not waste every single moment of their lives.

On his Instagram account (@derickdillard), he wrote: "#TBT pic of @jillmdillard and I at Durbar square, Kathmandu back in November 2013, 2 days after we met! Sadly, Durbar square is a very different place today because of the earthquake. Time flies; don't waste it!"

Nepal really holds a special place in Jill and Derick's hearts, and that is why the couple is doing whatever they can to help restore the place back to its former glory, following the massive 7.8 magnitude quake that claimed the lives of around 8,000 peoples and injured more than 14,500 others.

Derick said that Chepuwa, Nepal is just one of the many places where he has friends that are affected by the recent earthquake devastation.

"Our hearts and prayers continue to go out to the people of Nepal and because we want to help them in every way we can, we encourage you to learn more about the relief work the Baptist Global Response is doing on the ground in Nepal," they wrote on Facebook.

Baptist Global Response is a disaster relief and community development organisation that aims to help people in desperate need, and its main focus right now is the plight faced by the people of Nepal.

They initially provided their mission teams with $50,000 to help the people there get their lives on track, and they are currently determining what areas of concern they need to prioritise.

"The teams will examine the overall need and decide how we can best respond, with a focus on providing what is needed to sustain life during the initial stages of the relief operation," said Pat Melancon, BGR's managing director of disaster response and training.
