The Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers will clash on Sunday night in Super Bowl 50 2016, and after a packed season of NFL football it all boils down to one game to see who will be crowned this year's champs. The game has a scheduled start time of 6.30 p.m. ET and takes place from Levi's Stadium in California. The game can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through CBS Sports live stream via the link below.

Many neutrals today will be cheering on Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. The quarterback has given so many memorable moments throughout his career, and today he has the opportunity to give a dream farewell by winning the Super Bowl.

Manning has had one of his most challenging seasons, suffering inconsistent form, as well as some serious injuries. But the struggling quarterback has made his comeback and a fortnight ago against the New England Patriots showed just why he has been an NFL legend for the past two decades, putting on a solid performance to take down arch-rival Tom Brady to claim the Championship Game and progress to today's Super Bowl 50.

However, even though he is so near, he will know better than anyone that he is still so far with a huge challenge to overcome to claim the title. The Carolina Panthers have been as dominant throughout the season as any team in recent NFL memory, losing just the one game all season long and demolishing all-comers week in, week out.

No one could argue if the Panthers were to top off their amazing season with another win today to claim the Super Bowl. They have clearly been the best team in the NFL this season, however, the best team throughout the season does not always end up going all the way!

The Panthers recorded a 15-1 regular season, and have eased through what should have been extremely difficult games against the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals in the Playoffs. They dominated both teams on both sides of the ball, and if they can maintain that same level of intensity and efficiency in their game, it is difficult to see even Peyton Manning and his strong Denver Broncos team being able to topple Carolina.

Although most of the pre-match hype has been built around the quarterback matchup of Peyton Manning vs Cam Newton, in actual fact this game features the top two defenses in the league. Both teams have smashed through opposition offenses and disrupted quarterbacks all season long, and it will be interesting to see how Manning and Newton cope facing defenses operating on an entirely different level to every other team in the NFL they've faced this season.

The Panthers lead the NFL this season in both forced fumbles and interceptions, as well as defensive touchdowns.

Panthers' cornerback Josh Norman has spoken out in recent days, praising opposition quarterback Peyton Manning, but at the same time clearly indicating he will be going all out to spoil a fairy-tail farewell for the Hall of Fame bound quarterback.

Norman told USA Today reporters, "I'm rooting for him, but shoot, I want that ring. So I'm going to do everything I can to try to minimize what he likes to do. But at the same time, I respect the heck out of him."
